All Levels Program

In this class, you’ll learn techniques such as takedowns, sweeps, submissions, and escapes. Self-Defense Mastery

Gi & No-Gi
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling-based martial art that focuses on techniques to control and submit an opponent through the use of joint locks and chokes. The Base Woodland offers both Gi and No-Gi classes to provide students with a well-rounded understanding of the sport. Gi classes involve wearing a traditional Jiu-Jitsu uniform, while No-Gi classes are conducted without the uniform. Without the lapel and collar of a kimono to grab hold of, No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu is much faster and requires quick thinking. Both classes offer unique benefits, with Gi classes focusing on improving grip strength and No-Gi classes emphasizing speed and agility.
